Please Note these points before proceeding so you know that what you are doing and what your target is:

Your aim is to Install, any Mobile Application (incl. N-Gage Games on supported handsets only) on your Nokia Series 60v3 Device, and here is ONE TIME solution to install all softwares/games on your devices.

Follow these detailed guided steps to run applications on your S60v3 devices:


Install the TRK application on your phone!



Step 1:

Step 1.2) There are two versions of TRK application, known as Pre-FP1 for which the filename is "s60_3_0_app_trk_2_8_6.sis" which can be found in the application folder inside "Secman_Binpda" folder.

Other version is for FP1 devices, for which TRK file you need to install is "s60_3_1_app_trk_2_8_6.sis".

Step 1.4) Here is the list of devices, so you may choose to install the appropriate version:

Step 1.6) Now after your TRK application is installed on your phone, it will look like this:

When you will open the application, it may give show you message like:

"Status: Not Connected

Failed to open port.

Error Code: -21"

This is because, we have not yet configured the application to connect via USB cable (we will not use Bluetooth as method).

Now select options and then settings, it will look like this:

Select the following options, like in this picture:

Then goto options again, and select Connect:

It should now look like this:

Keep Metro TRK Running in background. Exit via the Menu Key.

Congratulations, step one complete!

Step 2:

Step 2.1: Make sure to Connect your mobile to your PC via USB cable, befre proceeding to next step.



Step 2.2: Now, go back to your PC and open the folder where all the files of SECMAN are extracted. Run Secman.exe. You will get a screen like this: (Pic Included)

Click Next. On the Next Screen, just check the option "Find MetroTRK Port Automatically" and click Next. Something like this. (Pic Included)

(Make sure that TRK application is still running on your mobile, otherwise it will not install.)

After some time, it will start installing the SecMan application to your phone. You will get something like this: (Pic Included)

After install, you should have Secman on your mobile phone.



Great! now proceed to Step 3

Secman Settings



Step 3:

Now Secman should be on your phone like this:

Open SecMan,go to Options and select "Turn Plat Security OFF". Like this. (Pic Included)

Important: You will need to turn "Turn Plat Security ON" if you before installing any N-Gage game, else it will not work.

Then, go to Options again and select "Install ROOT Certificate". Like this. (Pic Included)

Thats it! You have done it.!

Now you can install, any games, softwares released by BINPDA.

(Now here is an optional Step also, if you want to also install other Unsigned applications other than BinPDA than you will have to do follow this step also...)

This step is known as ROOT SIGN step or STEP 4

Only follow this Step if you are installing an Older BinPDA release or any other releasers/developers unsigned release e.g. illusions etc

Note: This step is only to be done, incase you are trying to Sign NON-BINPDA releases or for any older BinPDA release. New Applications by BINPDA do not require this step to be done

Step 4:

Put any Unsigned File in the same folder which we have created in Step 1. I have selected LandScape Pro application.

Open ROOTSiGN.EXE from the same folder, select the SIS File and click "Root Sign the file".

Vista Users Only (Not For XP users): Rightclick on SignRoot icon and select "Run As Administrator..." to run this app else if you run this application in simple way (double click) than it will not Sign the application. Here is screenshot:

Browse and load the application which you want to sign.

After its done, you will have 2 files in the folder. One Unsigned and One RootSigned. Like this:

Install the Rootsigned file. You will see it installs just like a signed SIS file. Heres how I installed LandscapePro Beta Unsigned.

Important: After you have installed the files, go to SecMan and go to Options > Turn Plat. Securities ON.
Its not a good idea to keep platform securities off always. They are there for a reason. Like, to install N-gage Games you will need to turn, Turn Plat. Securities ON else it may create issues.

Take note also that Apptrk is not working with new nokia firmware. Nokia company block Apptrk. I think this only works on BiNPDA releases. :smile:


If so, it is still advisable to use the 'Alternate Hack by FCA000' ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) because it's more simpler. No need to install Apptrk just to let SecMan install in your phone.

And best of all, the simplest way of hacking your phone. You don't even need Nokia PC suite which is needed for Apptrk/SecMan.

You only have to copy installserver & CProfDriver_SISX.ldd in C:/sys/bin (no need to install) and you can install all unsigned apps & run your CAPS ON/OFF software. Make your phone unhacked again just delete the two files and done. :tongue:
